In short
A recording of someone thinking out loud beats twenty slides explaining the same thing.
Somewhere along the way, presenting design became making a deck about the design. Slides about the process, slides about the rationale, and somewhere near the end, the work.
What we do instead
We record a short walkthrough. The file on screen, someone talking through what changed and why, and the parts we are unsure about said out loud. You watch it when you have ten minutes, not when the calendar says so.
It is faster to make, faster to watch, and it leaves a record you can send to whoever missed it.
